The International Wave of Light • October 15th, 2024

The international Wave of Light is the world’s way of honoring all babies and infants gone too soon. A candle is lit at 7:00pm (no matter which timezone you’re in) on October 15th to create 24 hours of a continuous wave of light. The photos below are from the 2023 event where we lit the Hoan bridge pink & blue, while other buildings also turned their lights pink & blue. We thank everyone in downtown Milwaukee for your support in spreading awareness for Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

Purchase Wave of Light Apparel

On October 15, 2024 we will Light the Hoan Bridge in Milwaukee pink & blue for the International Wave of Light event. Purchase some comfortable apparel before October 1st to wear in support of Mattie’s Memory and our mission. Please join us to support women & families who have experienced the loss of a child. If you are not able to come in person, please consider lighting a candle at 7:00pm (no matter which timezone you’re in), to provide 24 hours of continuous candlelight in memory of all of the babies who have gone too soon. Visit our Facebook event page to add your child’s name to the list which will be read at the Wave of Light event.
